METHYL-ALPHA-D-GALACTOPYRANOSIDE(Cas 3396-99-4) Usage

 Used in the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates such as Methyl-2,3,4,6-tetra-O-benzyl-D-galactopyranose, 4-amino-4-deoxy-D-hexuronic acid or alcohol. Used for synthesis of methyl galactopyranoside derivate, for example, methyl α-D- galactopyranonic acid; methyl 3-O-benzoyl-α-D-galactopyranoside; methyl 2,3,6-tri-O-acetyl or benzyl-α-D-galactopyranoside, methyl 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-α-D-galactopyranoside, methyl 2,3,4-tri-O-acetyl or benzoyl-α-D-galactopyranoside; methyl 3,4 -O-isopropylidene-α-D-galactopyranoside; methyl 4,6-O-isopropylidene-α-D-galactopyranoside; methyl 2,3,4-tri-O-acetyl-6-bromo or iodine-6-deoxy-α-D-galactopyranoside and methyl 2,4-di-O-acetyl 3,6-anhydro-α-D-galactopyranoside, 1,5- anhydro-α-D-galactitol, etc. Used in synthetic carbopeptides, polymers combined with carbohydrates, Sialyloligosaccharides, Thiolactose, Thiocellobiose, (1→3) and (1→6) glycan and other oligosaccharides.
